Career & Course Counselling
Counselling
At St. Joan’s School, our dedicated School Counsellor plays a vital role in fostering the emotional and mental well-being of our students. The counsellor provides a safe and confidential space for students to discuss personal challenges, helping them navigate academic pressures, social issues, and emotional concerns.
Through one-on-one sessions, group workshops, and classroom interventions, our counsellor promotes healthy coping strategies, resilience, and positive self-esteem.
They also work closely with teachers and parents to ensure a supportive environment that encourages holistic development.
Our counsellor’s goal is to empower students to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Global Reach
St. Joan’s School takes pride in facilitating the future success of our students through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Global Reach for comprehensive career counselling. This initiative underscores our dedication to equipping our students with the tools and knowledge necessary for their academic and professional journey, ensuring they are ready to meet the challenges and opportunities of the global stage.
Who is this designed for?
This partnership is especially designed for students aspiring to study abroad, offering them invaluable assistance with University applications, scholarships and visa applications.
Understanding the critical nature of making informed decisions about higher education and career paths, this collaboration ensures our students are well-prepared to navigate the complexities of international studies.
Psychometric Testing
Furthermore, as part of our commitment to helping students discover their true potential and interests, psychometric testing sessions will be organised. These sessions aim to assess various aptitudes and personality traits, providing insights that will guide students in making informed career choices.
Making appointments
A Global Reach counsellor will be available on campus once a month during lunch times for personal consultations. Students interested in these services can schedule an appointment through the school office.
