The current school building was inaugurated by His Excellency Mr. K.V. Raghunatha Reddy, the Governor of West Bengal, on 20th April 1997, with the school commencing classes from I to VIII on 16th June 1997. The first batch of students appeared for their ICSE (Class 10) exams in 2000, followed by the introduction of the ISC (Class XI &amp; XII) sections in Science and Commerce in April 2005. The first batch of Class 12 students appeared for their ISC exams in 2007.<\/p><p>Recognizing the importance of early exposure to technology, St. Joan\u2019s School became one of the first few schools in Kolkata to introduce a robotics integrated curriculum from the Kindergarten Section in 2023. This initiative is part of our internationalized curriculum approach, designed to prepare students for the challenges of the future.
